A lot of good money was lost this week over Blue and Black, a very ordinary sort of a gelding by Louis. It is wonderful where alleged wiseacres get their so-called "information" from!
Johnny Wnlkor, by Martian—Silk Gown,, is a hotter horse than his Palmerston form suggests. Sabana seams to have lost all form; or perhaps it is only a matter of her inability to "act" in soft going. It was pretty hard to pick a starter on Wednesday, scratohings being so numerous. One punter had. four bets and did not get a run.
