EVERYBODY'S.

MATINEE TO-DAY. "'THE PILLORY." Most ingenious use is made of Scrip: tural texts in this fine drama to be screened at 'Everybody's this afternoon and to-night. In the mouth of the narrow-minded, uncharitable old Deborah, these, quotations are used with' dreadful effect to harden her resolution to expose the past of a woman who is trying to atone bv good deeds. Florence La Bathe is a most atracti-ve heroine, and fter girlish grace is full of charm in every scene. The .story is natural and fine, and the scene in which Deborah .bursts upon-, the guests' at 'the 'judge's 'house and tells them of the sin of the hostocs is terrible >in its dramatic intensity. The supporting cast is good, and Yale cßnner is,a manly and convincing hero. There are a number, of good supports including "Topical Budget," "Picturesque Catalonia," "Cask Making," and a humorous comedy "A Pair of Slrins.''
