FATAL FIRE.
WOMAN BURNED ALIVE. By Telegragh.—Press Association. Palmcrston North, Hay 10. A fatal lire occurred ui Alexandra street. A lionse occupied by a man named t'rcoinan, who was away from home, wan discovered' in flumes by a passer-by. When the deb™ was searched the charred liody of a woman, presumably that of Mrs Freeman, was'found. She evidently had attempted to escape and was overcome by the smoke.
