Masters, chairman of the Education Board, left for Wellington- this morning. He expects to be absent till next week. A very quiet wedding was solemnised at tile residence of Mrs Cockburii. Portia street, this morning- by the. llev. j. Dawson Madill, tile contracting parties being Mr. Percy C. Warnen, Kai Iwi, Waiiganui, and Miss Winifred Gertrude Treweek, of Pembroke Road. Immediately after the ceremony th;: happy couple joined the southern c.vprcss, receiving a ' royal" send-off from a host of friends.
