In a rugby match, the Now Zealand Soldiers' team defeated University by 9 points to 8, after a well-contested game, the visitors snatching victory just on the call of time. Amodeo scored two tries, one of which was converted, and Hardingham kicked a penalty goal for the winners. YORKSHIRE DEFEATS NEW ZEALANDERS. Received May G, 11.15 p.m. London, May C. Yorkshire beat the -Haw Zealandcrs at Leeds by 19 points to 8. Yorkshire's superiority outside the scrum gavo them the victory. Newman and Pilkington scored tries for the New Zealandcrs, one being converted by Langford.
