Mr. Justice Sim allowed appeals by Oliver Noakes against his conviction and sentence of eleven months' imprisonment 011 a charge, of making an utterance intended to interfere with the loading of ■the steamer Westralia, and expressed the opinion that the remarks in question were spoken without the intention of influencing the conduct of another waterBide worker, but merely expressed disapproval of his conduct in connection with the hour of engagement. • The appeal was allowed and the information dismissed.
