POSITION. OF PEASANTS. (iKEAT MASS MEETING. Odessa, May 2. A great mass meeting of peasants is announced to assemble here at the end of May. It will probably, be of immense importance to the future of Russia, as peasants constitute three-fourths of the Russian nation and furnish at least 8C per cent, of the troops. Russia's fate lies largely in thcii bands, but they are still unorganised and unconscious of their power. The laud question will be the moat prominent topic for discussion. Agitators demand the confiscation of all land) and the agitation threatens to divide the peasants themselves in the struggle foi possession. MUSH CAPTURED. TURKISH REPORT. London, May 2.
