SHOCKING TRAP FATALITY.
OCCUPANTS THROWN AGAINST PARAPET. , By Telegraph.—Press Association. Duuedin, May 1. A shocking trap accident is reported from Queenstawn. A party was proceeding yesterday to Arrowtown, via Arthur's Point, when on a steep incline to the bridge, the horse got out of hand and the occupants were thrown against a stone parapet. J. H. Wear, a singla man, residing at Christchurch, was killed. Mrs Wear had both arms fractured, and R. Foot® (Duuedin) received! bruises and a slight concussion. The injured were removed to Frankton Hobh pital, and arc progressing as well as caif be expected.
