(From Our Own Correspondent). An interesting wedding took place hero to-day, the contracting parties being Miss Elizabeth Brown and Mr. J. Humphrey, of Whakatane, Bay of Plenty. The Bev. C. W. Howard offifcijatecL Hie Ibrilde was yittired in a most attracive dress of smart navy blue serge, with military braid. She also wore a black velvoiir hat, and sky blue feathers. Misses Minnie. Brown and Edith White mere the bridesmaids. The bride was given away 'by her father, and the best man was Mr. A. White. After the ceremony the happy couple faced the camera, listened to several congratulatory speeches at the tearooms and then caught the train for Sew Plymouth, en route to Whakatane. |
