James Walter Turabull, who wa., drawn in the last ballot, volunteered and was rejected twice. Two of bis brothers were members of the main "Ex-, poditionary Force, being invalided home. Another brother is a member of the 23rd Reinforcements. Reference was made at the meeting} of the Harbor Board yesterday to tha services rendered by Mr. Jacob Marx, « member ofUhe board for the past eight or nine years, who is not seeking ,reV election thia term, and the hope was expressed that he might at some future date occupjr a seat at the board table. In a brief reply Mr. Marx thanked the chairman and members for the treatment accorded him. All the time he had been on the Harbor Board, he had tried to help in doing what was done, and had never been in conflict en aj question of policy.
