Subject to necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under:— For Auckland and North, per steamer, Tuesday and Thursday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gisborn? daily at G.la a.m. and 12.20 p.m. Por Opunake and intermediate Offices per motor bus daily at (1.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily, at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. | For Wanganui and intermediate office!, daily, at 6.15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. Mails for "United Kingdom, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be dispatched from time to time 'by the best route without special notification.
