The claim by Bennett against BuckLuyft, for £sl lis compensation, for in. juries caused through defendants' horse kicking plaintiff, was not heard, but will probably come, up for hearing at next Court. . r - THE MAYORALTY. A deputation of business' people waited on Mr 0. Young (Mayor), asking him to again allow himself to be nominated for a further term. Mr P. Spurdle introduced the deputation and Mr Ilamcrton acted as spokesman. In reply, his worship mentioned that he had already occupied the chair for four years, but was willing to again offer his services if it was the wish of the burgesses, ° j .*jf
