AGAINST RUA'S ADHERENTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Last Night. The hearing of the perjury charged against the native in connection with the Rua trial was continued at the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Hosking, Mr. Mays appearing for the Crown and Mr. Lundon for the prisoners. During cross examination of the witness, \V. Cobbledick (Government ranger at Rotorua), he made,an emphatic statement to the effect that the natfvc Paul King, since deceased, fired the first sho» at Rua's pa on April 2, 1016, and that be (witness) had proved it to his own satisfaction.
