GOLF.
EASTER TOURNAMENT. With Easter approaching tho interest of golfers will he centred on.the annual tournament to be held on the Waiwakaiho links on Saturday and Monday next under the? auspices of the New Plymouth Club. Owing to the long spell of dry weather the links are now in excellent order for playing,. and will, no doubt, lie much appreciated by players. Arrangements for the tournament* are well under way, and as inquiries have been received from Wellington and Palinerston Clubs, everything points to the meeting being as great a success as in previous yeah. Entries are already coming in, and it will be of great assistance to the committee in charge if prospective players will endeavor to forward their entries, together with handicaps, certified to by their club secretaries, by Thursday next. The links will be open to visiting players on Friday as usual.
