THE EFFICIENCY BOARD.

MR. MOSS AT NEW PLYMOUTH.

Mr. Thomas Moss, member'of the National Efficiency Board, arrived in New Plymouth last evening. He was accompanied by Mr. E. L. Kehoe, who is acting as secretary.

Mr. Moss immediately met the Board of Trustees set up in the different North Taranaki districts, and discussed matters in connection with the organisation of labor. The discussion was in committee.

To-day Mr. Moss will hear evidence bearing upon the advisability of the restriction, continuance or abolition during the war period of the agricultural and pastoral shows, amusements, including picture theatres, sports (including racing). The evidence will be taken in camera.
