RUA PERJURY CAS.ES. % Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Hosking, the perjury charges in connection with Riia's trial at Auckland were continued. Mr. Mays appeared for the Crown. Lutura Kaiuka y/as charged with committing perjury by swearing that he saw the first shot bred from a revolver by Constable Skinner. Evidence for the Crown goes to show that when the polico party were about a mile and a-half from Riia's pa. Senior Sergeant Cassells, acting under instructions, gave his carbine to Conitable Skinner. The latter then handed Ussells his revolver, pouch, and belt, which he put on. -Cassells, in his evidence, said that the revolver, belt, etc., n-ero not returned to Skinner until tha following Monday.
