FAMILY OF HEROES.
THREE BROTHERS WIN V.C., M.C., AND D.S.O. A splendid record of distinctions is hold by the three brothers, of AV'cybridgo, Surney. Commander (now Captain) Martin Nasmith won tho \ictoria Cross for the brilliant exploits of Submarine Ell ui the Sea of Marmora, where nine Turkish ships of war and a transport were sunk. Earlier in the war, during the Cuxhaven raid, Commander Nasmith rescued live men from the wrecked British aeroplanes, while a German airship was dropping bombs mer'nead. Before tlio war he had taken the King 011 a submarine voyage. Captain Arthur Plate Nasmith, of the Border regiment, won the D.S.O. for "great courage and initiative in organising and leading a successful attack, and setting a splendid example throughout.' Major Reginald Nasmith, of the Highland Light Infantry, has been awarded the Military Cioss. A fourth brother, Lieutenant ■Sydney Nasmith, is at present in India.
