GERMAN RETREAT SLOWING.
OWING TO GALES. MOIRAHT'S VIEWS OF. THE MOVE. Jteuter Service. Received March 21, 5.15 p.p. London, March 20. The headquarters correspondent attributes the slowing down of the German retreat to the equinoctial gales, which are roaring across northern France. Colonel Moraht writes in the TageMatt that every German should be pleased at the retreat, for it means that von Hindenburg is luring the English and French in order to inflict on them unprecedented losses.
