THE PETROGRAD TROUBLE. IS NO NEWS GOOD NEWS? Received March 15, 10 p.m. ' London, March 15. No news from Petrograd has been re--ceivcd since Monday. The Central News' Stockholm correspondent states a well-known business man, who has just returned front* Petrograd, says lie saw nothing continuing the rumorß of a revolutionary movement in Petrograd or elsewhere in Russia. Anyhow the rumors were certainly exaggerated. He only noticed a diminution in the rail traffic, due to the lack of fuel.
FOOD CONTROL QUESTION. A COMITTEE FORMED Received March 15, 11.10 p.m. Petrograd, March- 15. An extraordinary food control committee has been formed under the Premier. hut the Duma, the Zemstvos, municipalities and large towns are unrepresented. The committee is widely and authoritatively charged with organising the distribution of food, .whereof large quantities go to Petrograd.
