WEDDING.
FORWARD—SMITH, A -wedding was solemnised in the Whiteley Memorial Church yesterday afternoon between Mis Kathleen Smith, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. 11. Smith, Lemon ireet, New Plymouth, and Mr Frank Forward, of New Plymouth. The Rev. C. H. Olds officiated.* The bride looked very dainty in a dress of white embroidered voile, with veil and orange blossoms, and was attended by Misses Xellie Wall and Ivy Hardgreaves, the. iormcr of whom wore pink voile and the latter blue voile, with hats to match. Miss Mary Hancock, Xgiievc, made a charming llowcr girl in a white lace dress. The mother of the bride was attired in a costume of navy blue silk, with hilt to correspond. Mt Spooner acted as best man. The bridegroom proseiiled a gold necklace, set w.th amethysts and pearls, to I.' e bride, and to the bridesmaids he gave brooches. The brides gift to the brideprcoiu took the form of a gold signet r.ng. Numerms presents were received, including cheques :-.nd a piano from the parents of tile bride. After the ceremony tile wedding break last was partaken of at May and Arrowsmith's rooms. Later Mr and Mrs Fonvaru left by motor to Spend the honeymoon in Auckland and llotorua.
