fIAWEEA v. STRATFORD. The third game between these clubs was played at Stratford yesterday, The green played fine, but the Hawera players found it difficult to gauge the strength in the early stage of the game. At the end of ten heads Stratford bad scored 01 against 51 made by Hawera. At the 11th bead King scored a sixer against Tarrant. At the inth heal Stratford bad increased the lead to 70 against 59. Hawera never recovered, and the final figures were: Stratford 138. Hawera 08, McMillan's rink (20) nut up the best figures with least points against, whilst King (20) and Sharp (iS) also did well. A. Robertson (21) and Foy (18) were the two successful visiting skips. At the conclusion of the play Mr. W. A. Parkinson, Ilawera, congratulated the winners on their success, am\ thanked them for the hospitality extended.
