Speaking to a Daily News reporter subsequent to the inspection, Colonel Hume said he was convinced the men had benefited considerable' as the result of the period tliev had siient in camp. Colonel Hume said he was very pleased indeed with the results of the training, which reflected credit on the o.e. of the camp and his staff. The Waiwakaiho camp was one of the cleanest and neatest he had inspected. The men were we'll provided for in the way of' l ecrention, the C.E.M.S. and the Presbyterians having well-equipped marquees on the ground. The chaplains, Lieut.Colonel Evans and Captains Tate and Doolaghty, bad done work which was highly appreciated by all.
