qinema films censorship. By Telegraph.—Press .Association. Wellington, March 12. The Minister of Internal Affairs state* that an appeal has been lodged against the censorship of certain cinema films by the official censor. An appeal boavd has therefore been appointed, consisting of Mr H. M. Goro (president of the Academy of Fine Arts), Mr W. Serving and Mr J. B. Speed. Mr Speed represent*' the film proprietors. PRESBYTERIAN' MEN'S LEAGUE, Palmerston N., March 12. A well attended meeting of member# o[ St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church decided to. form a branch of the Presbyterian Men's League of Now Zealand. The objects of the league" are to promote amongst the men of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand spiritual development, brotherly love, Christian activity, a deepening sense of th» demands of Christian citizenship. This is the first branch formed in New Zealand. STRANDING OF MARAROA. Wellington, March IS. A magisterial inquiry into the stranding of the Mararon near Paliser Bay on K'hrunrv *24 will be held on Wednesday. The nautical assessors will be Captain* II Johnson (late harbormaster at Wellington) and Felix Black, a,New Zea-i land coastal pilot. WELLINGTON'S MILK SUPPLY. Wellington, March 12. There have been rumors recently of a grave milk shortage in Wellington. Arrangements have been made to insure a fun supply from the Wairarapa, independent of the Wellington Farmers' A», boc^ation.
