WOMAN'S SAD DEATH.
VERDICT OP SUICIDE. At the adjourned inquest into the circumstances connected with the deatli of Mrs Edith Myrtle Young, of Tikorangi, Dr E. A. Walker deposed that Mrs Young was admitted to "the hospital at about 11 o'clock last Monday n'ght. He said her husband gave the history that four hours previously she had taken the contents of a partially-used bottle containing an inhalation." The exact quantity was not known. She became very ill at once, and Dr Campbell, of Waitara, carried out first-aid treatment, finally sending her to the hospital. On admission she was very ill. Her heart action was very bad, and she had considerable difficulty in breathing. The usual treatment was carried out without avail, and she died just before midnight on the day following her admission. The cause of death was cardiac and respiratory failure, the result of the poison mentioned. The coroner, Mr A. Crooke, S.M., returned a verdict of suicide. ■ j— ' .» I
