The Petrograd. correspondent 01 the Daily Telegraph says the Council of Empire unanimously adopted an interpellation asking for a statement of the Government's proposals to cheek the disorganisation of transport and guarantee supplies of food, fuel and raw material for the army uml people.
Mr Gnckoff, President of the War Industries Committe. declared that the isolation of the Government from the nation was the fundamental cause of all the present trouble.
ASADABAD SUMMIT CAPTURED. - TURKS PURSUED. Reeived March 8, 8.20 p.m. , London, March 8. A Russian communique states: We took possession .of the' Asadabad summit and pursued the Turks, who are retiring towards Kangaver. We are fighting the fleeing enemy near Sfrne, in tho direction of Bidjar, and are continuing the pursuit in the direction of Dovletabad.
