EVACUATION PROCEEDING. VBXIZELISTS EELEASED. • Aust. and N.Z. Cable Assn and Renter. Received March 8, 5.30 p.m. London, March 8. Mr A. J. Balfour, Foreign Secretary, stated that the evacuation of troops and artillery from the north of Greece was proceeding satisfactorily, but certain demands made by the Entente were still unfulfilled. About 6000 regulars an ,i 3000 gendarmerie were still in North Pelnponnessus. The Greek Government had released the Venizelists, and had promised to abandon proceedings against them.
