PAPAL CONSISTORY. London, March 7. The "Daily Telegraph's Milan correspondent says that the 'Pope lias .sum moiled a special Consistory for before Easter. It is believed that it will have political aspects, and that the Pope will make an important announcement 011 the war, particularly expressing his abhorrence of the iniquitous submarine campaign, which is being waged with such barbarity, especially against the neutrals. ATTACK REPULSED. London, March 7. A wireless Italian official message says:—We repulsed with heavy losses a night attack at Costobella, and penetrated the enemy lines at J.losciagli, on the Asiago plateau. THE PRESS ACT Calcutta, March 7. The Viceroy has refused to repeal the Press 4et, which is still necessary in order to prevent sedition.
