TRAMWAY RETURNS.
A PROFITABLE WEEK. The tramway returns for last week were exceptionally good, being considerably affected by the show at Waiwakaiho. An interesting feature of the returns is that on Tuesday more passengers were carried than on Wednesday, yet the revenue for Wednesday was greater. The explanation is that on Wednesday a large number of passengers •went to the show, buying threepenny tickets. Appended are the returns:— Passengers.
