RETURNED MEN WELCOMED.

Sergeant L. Cole, son of Mr. H. CoT», of Voale Road, returned to New Ply mouth by the mail train laat evening. Sergeant Cole, who enlisted as a private and has won his stripes on the battlefield, was a member of the Bth Rein< forccments, and was attached to the artillery. He was wounded in France, and after spending some months in hospital in England, has been invalided home. He was given a hearty welconio by a large number of friends.
