Practically every hack in Tnranaki is nominated for the Rangitikei meeting "Joe" Conquest had a royal time at Rotorua, riding six winners. "Trots" are called all sorts of names, but the latest is '"Red Hots!"
At Wangamii the closing of the tote was signalled to the starter by means of a targe white discing run up to the mast-head on the tote-house.
Flying Camp is not- overweighted with 10.4 in the Hurdles at Opunake. There is every prospect of a good field lining up for this event. Cardrona was heavily backed each start at Dannevirke on Thursday, and won the double easily. Some good, Cardrona.

Multifual, for whom 1000 gns. were refused recently,, has caught it hot in the big race at Napier. That's what comes of booming a horse. Bunting's youiiger full-brother, Bed Pennant, is in work at Randwic-k.
