'«» LAST NTGHT OF FANNY WARD, "FOR THE DEFENCE." Miss Fanny Ward made her second bow to a local picture audience at Evcrybodys last evening in a Lasky feature, "For the Defence." Miss Ward previously created somewhat of a sensation in lier great dramatic portrayal in '"The Cheat," and that she has quickly established herself in the public favor was amply demonstrated by the huge crowd that filled, every part of the theatre last night. "For the Defence" is a thrilling dramatic story in which a clever detective theme is introduced that never for a moment, allows the interest to stray. To-night will be the final screening of this picture and it is ond that should not be missed. To-morrow's change of programme will feature Bessie Love and William S. Hart in. 'Bell to Pay Austin," a stirring Western drama. Owing to a number of big attractions booked for next week this film will bi screened on Saturday only.
