Mac Donald, Minister <rf Agriculture and Commerce, stated toJay that the Government was prepared to guarantee for IAI7-1S a minimum price of Gs 5d per bushel for wheat, with a maximum of ;is lOd, if the circumstances warranted it. "The Government," said the Minister, "realise tho dilficultie* that rorifront farmers in connection with the abor problem, but I will be willing to onler with any body of farmers in rejmrd to procuring suitable machinery nnd factors for putting in crops, an 4 nlso for harvesting them."
