THE NORWOODS. At the Good Templar Hall to.morrow evening will be inaugurated a return season of four nights by the famous hypnotic entertainer, Professor Norwood, whose amusing entertainments met with popular demonstrations of approval on his previous visit to this town. An Australian contemporary says: The Theatre Royal was literally packed when the American hypnotic wizard opened a farewell five nights' season. A number of volunteers anxious to submit themselves to this strange -influence came forward from the audience and business commenced. The Professor does not separately deal with ea<'h member —his hvpjnotism is of the wholesale order—and he works them in batches. It appears wonderfully simple to the onlooker, but the tremendon= mind force exerted i; n.-d »n----parent. Once under the mind pull, ail ♦orts of antics rapidly iollow and the freaks performed by the hypnotised class made the evening's entertainment one long peal of merriment." Professor Norwood will introduce new features in his hypnotice seances each evening. Miss Ruth Hamilton will also assist in the entertainment, giving an exposition of mental telepathy while under hypnotice influence.
