CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE GADBEIfc. By Telegraph.—Press Association* Thames, Lost Night. There is a severe flood at the Thamflt owing to the stoppage of the Karaka! reek, preventing the heavy rainfall get* ting away. The creek overflowed both banks, flooding the town and causing serious damage to houses by the deposit of silt and furniture was injured and streets aifc covered with debris and the railway line has been washed out in many places, stopping the traffic and the telephones have been stopped and tl»j whole town is several inches in, silt.
