WESTERN ATTACK.
ENEMY RUSH ADVANCED POST BRITISH ENTER GERMAN POSITIONS. Keccived Feb 21, 8 p.m. London, Feb. 20. Field-Marshal Sir Douglas Hajg reports: Under cover of a heavy bombardment, destroying our trench, strong enemy detachments, assisted by flamethrowers, rushed an advanced post south of Le Transloy. We entered and damaged positions east of Armentieres and east of Ypres. ARTILLERY ACTIVITY. London, Feb. 20. A French communique states that there was lively artillery work in the sectors at Auxcourt, Pepper Hill an<l Bezonvaux. We destructively bombed enemy organisations north of Damloup. J SUCCESSFUL FRENCH OPERATIONS. A. & N.Z. Cable Association and Reuter. Received Feb. 2L, 6.55 p.m. London, Feb. 20. A French communique states: There has been lively artillerying between the j Oise and the Aisne and the secor of ivoeourt. We made a successful coup-de-main north of Fleury and west of Wattwiller.
