EXCHANGE OF INCAPACITATED PRISONERS.
GERMANY'S NEW CONDITIONS. A. & N.Z. Cable Association ami Reuter. Received Feb. 13, 7.30 p.m. London, Feb. 13. The Press Bureau issues a Foreign Office statement that after arrangements hod been completed for the exchange of British and Herman incapacitated prisoners. Germany telegraphed through the An'criean Embassy prior to the rupture o[ diplomatic relations, that the departure of British hospital ships with severely wounded Germans could no '-•"> iv lie considered safe, and suggested-' the transportation of the wounded to . .., , ■ . ..land bv Dutch paddle steamers, which would be guaranteed by Germany a safe conduct. The transportation of severely wounded English was to he suspended until Britain's reply was received. Future repatriations, including German and English civil prisoners, theeraftcr would be effected in the same manner. The Foreign Office adds: "Comment upon such communication!: is superfluous."'.
THE FINANCIAL BURDEN.
TRUST INVESTMENTS MAY BE MOBILISED. Received Feb. 13, 0 p.m. London, Feb. 12. The Attorney-Genera!, addressing members of the Law Society, said that in the remote contingency of another war loan, all trust investments might have to be mobilised.
