» ROBBERIES BY MASKED MEN. By Telegraph.—Press A< relation. Pahnerston N,, February 12. A sensational case of robbery by masked and armed men lias been report- ; - ec 1 . to the police. When N. H. Sinclair, manager of Watson Bros.' grocery, readied his house lie was held np by two men who were hiding in the garden. They rifled his pockets, but fortunately he had only sixpence with him. Then they marched him a considerable distance down the radii to an old gravel pit, where they took the keys of the store from him. 4 Sinclair made an attempt to breakaway, bui one of the men fired at him. . .He •'relended to be hit, and his assailants took to their heels. K On the previous Saturday night a u.xi driver was robbed of a small sum of money by two masked men.
