CONSPIRACY TRIALS POSTPONED. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. London, February 7. The Lloyd George conspiracy trial has been postponed, and it is understood that it: will 'be transferred to the Old Bailey. Melbourne, Feh. 8. The Treasury report for the half-year ending December 31 shows a heavy inciease in expenditure, £49,870,510, as against £28,500,000 for the same period in 1915. War expenditure paid from loan money rose from £4,300,000 to £20,030,331. ALLEGED MILITARY FRAUDS. Sydney, February S. Howell Price has been committed for trial, bail being refused. Accused's counsel said that the case had dwindled from ,£0(1,000 to about £9200, only £450 being unaccounted for.
