EDNA MAY IN A DELIGHTFUL PICTURE, "SALVATION JOAN." "Salvation Joan," ivhich was shown for the first time in Now Plymouth at the Empire Theatre last night, should prove a strong attraction. The film, which is a Vitagraph Blue Ribbon, features Miss Edna May, the famous "Belle of New York," in the dual r!'i; of a Salvation Army lassie and a society giri. The supporting caste includes Harry Morey, who is already well known hero as a film actor of no mean ability. This popular player appears in a "stron? man" part, which distinctly appeals i'j him. The supporting subjects arc all well arranged. "Salvation .loan" will be screened again to-night and for the last time to-morrow. On Thursday (second race night) there will be a complete change wlien-the principle picture will be a stirring dramatic feature, "Wicked New York."
