THE DEPORTATION ATROCITIES. AMERICA URGED TO MOVE. Washington, Jan. 24. The United States Universities have petitioned President Wilson to demand that Germany stop the deportations and unparalleled cruelty, which is inflicting unspeakable suffering on the Belgians. America, the petition says, should not be inactive in the presence of so hideous a wrong perpetrated on a helpless people. :
