I'ield-Marshal Sir Douglas llnig reports:—We successfully raided ' the t'-onches south-east of Loos, and destroyed dug-outs, inflicting many casualties. We entered the enemy lines yesternight north of .Veuve Chsppelle. Mutual artjllerying has been active. A trench communique states:—We conducted a successful coup de main towards Scynes. Om artillery caught enemy troops on the march south of Mont St. Quentin. There has been great reciprocal artillerying on, the various sectors.
