The sergeant paid he was a pejice officer, and was going to search the man. The sergeant closed, and there was a : violent struggle, in which Richards fired at the sergeaivt and missed. Assistance was called from civilians, and Richards was placed in the loeU-np, and lppcared before iM. charged with discharging a *aded revolver at Ecekles, wjtli intent to dp grievous bodily harm. He was remanded for eight days. Other charges are pending.
