TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.
On Wednesday and Thursday, February 2S and March 1, the above Society wil' hold its 42nd annual show This is the metropolitan society of Taranaki and one of the oldest in the Dominion, ar.d there >s> no reason, except apathy oil Die part of the public, why it should not take a very high place indeed among the leading agricultural, societies of the Dominion.
The Society this year will be in possession of its own showground, and the buildings, etc., are now almost complete for the many valuable exhibits which will occupy them at the end of next month. The prize-money allotted to this fixture comparer veiy favorably with that, of any other show in the Dominion, and. that in itself should be an inducement to those who possess anything of merit to make entries.
Schedules will be posted to any addrtss on application to the Secretary. P.O. Hex 1!), New Plymouth. , Entries dose on February 17th, at the secretary's office, Cmrie Street, Xew Plymouth. Remember the dotes. February 28 and March 1, and come and give a progressive society your valued support. An electric tram service will be running from Egmont Street, to within a few minutes' walk of the grounds.
