WORKERS' PROTESTS. Received Jan. 15, 9.40 a.m. London. Jin. 15. The Yorkshire engineers resolved on protesting against the number of untrained men admitted to the munition works, thereby escaping military service. They threaten drastic action. The position is becoming acute. The National Amalgamated Union of Labor and National Union of General Workers and the Workers' Union, representing 300.000 men, protested to Mr. Lloyd George against the further aebadging of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers.
