SUICIDE BY DROWNING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Auckland. Jan. 12. At the inquest on Frederick Carroll, aged 05, who was found drowned in the harbor, a verdict was returned of suicide while his mind was affected by illness and suffering. The evidence showed that he lived on private means without working, and latterly had been short of money. KILLED IN MOTOR ACCIDENT. Masterton, Jan. 12. F. Jackson, a private telegraph linesman, was killed this morning in a motorear accident on the Weraiti ■ Hill, near Masterton.
