LABOR AND CONSCRIPTION. Hobart, Jan. 12. The Labor Conference suggests a new plank of no conscription of life without conscription of yearly incomes exceeding £3OO. . Perth, Jan. 12. There was nn exciting meeting between the Goldfields Council of the Labor Federation in the Kalgoorlie Trades Hall. Senator Lynch. Scderai Minister of Works. <vas invited, to attend to explain the alleged statements in which lit called anti-conscriptionists mongrels, pro-Germans andlHuns. Senator Lynch admitted the latter, but denied the use of "mongrels." Uproar ensued, culminating in a fight between Senator Lynch and one of the delegates, and blood was drawn. While the. combatants were being separated the lights were extinguished and the proceedings closed in general disorder.
