The new recruiting methods include arrangements to allow recrdits from particular districts, ,of the same occupation, or friends, to enlist, train, and fig'ht together. It is intended to appeal' to certain classes to form separate reinforcement units. REPATRIATION OF SOLDIERS.. Melbourne, Jan. 11. It is undei stood that Mr. Hughes has agreed to an advance of £2,000,000 for the repatriation of soldiers. The Premiers Conference agreed to a repatriation scheme whereby the States will take charge of settlements ofsoldiers, and cover advances of local loans under Federal control. A new financial agreement has been reached, reducing loans raised in Britain and increasing local loans. /
