DROWNING CASES. Gisborne, Jan. 8. Bertram Kobert Watkins, a railway cadet, whose parents reside at Hamilton, was drowned whilst bathing in the Waimate River yesterday afternoon. Gore, Jan. 8, A man named Joseph Hope, employed by a farmer named John M'Kinnel, was drowned while bathing in the river at. Waikaia.
