A Dutch steamer in the Bay of Biscav, which received aa wireless 5.0..5. call, hurried to the position indicated in the message and found a German submarine '"U" commander exceedingly angry to find that the rescuer was n Dutch and not a British ship. He sent a wireless message: "We don't want you to save our souls. We want Britishers to siive our souls." TOTAL OF TONNAGE LOST. London, Jan. 5. Lloyds report that the British ship Orsonay, 4761 tons, has been sunk. The losses of Allied and neutral ships to the oth inst. amount to 29,008,000 tons. Christiania. Jan. 5.
The total of the 101 f> Norwegian losses is SS.OOO tons, nevertheless the Customs receipts constitute a record.
