East Africa, Official.—Via stormevl on Monday tlie strongly entrenched lines in tlie Mgeta valley, southward of the Uhiguru hills, inflicting heavy casualties, and capturing several guns and howitzers. We pursued tlie enemy within eleven miles north-west of Kibambawe, towards the Kufiji valley. ifeamvhile a detached column, by a detour of the trackless country, established itself astride the roads leading southward f"om the Rnfiji valley. Our forces further oast are astride of the trasks wading southward fron the Kufiji delta, where tlierc are considerable enemy forces. British forces eastward of the fringaubek line are driving n strong detachment Mahengewards.
